The EasyHang™ EFDM60 Anti-Vibration Hanging Kit is a high-performance ceiling mount isolation solution designed to suspend light-duty HVAC equipment, ductwork, piping, or other mechanical systems while effectively minimizing vibration and structure-borne noise. Engineered for fast installation and long-term durability, this kit uses four EFDM60 elastomeric grommet isolators and high-quality zinc-coated steel hardware. It is ideal for commercial and institutional ceiling applications where acoustic performance, mechanical decoupling, and ease of installation are critical.

Installation Instructions

Before You Begin: Ensure the load of the suspended system is within the rated capacity of the kit (Max 132 lbs per isolator). Use all four isolators for balanced load distribution.

Determine Mounting Points: Mark four symmetrical locations on the ceiling structure or mounting channel. Ensure these align with the suspension points on the supported unit.
Insert EFDM60 Grommets: Slide each EFDM60 grommet over the threaded rod, ensuring the molded collar sits flush in the hole or bracket to prevent metal contact.
Secure with Nuts: Place a nut above and below each grommet to lock it in place. Hand-tighten initially to position the system.
Level and Load: Adjust the lower nuts to achieve the desired system height and leveling. Once level, tighten all nuts firmly but avoid over-compressing the grommets to preserve deflection range.
Verify Clearance & Load Distribution: Conrm all isolators are loaded evenly and show slight compression. If using for acoustical ceiling components, conrm no hard contact with adjacent structural surfaces.
