6.8AASHTO Grade – Bearing Pads
AASHTO Grade Load Bearing Pads are designed to meet AASHTO specifications for highway bridge bearing pads.
They meet both AASHTO Standard Specifications for plain and laminated elastomeric bridge bearing pads and AASHTO LRFD bridge construction specifications. They are available in Natural Rubber and Neoprene.

AASHTO Bearing Pads can be installed between structural components in highway bridges, railroad bridges, and in all types of concrete and/or steel structures as an efficient and economical method for accommodating shock, vibration, rotation, and shear caused by load deflection and thermal movement.
AASHTO Grade Virgin Natural Rubber Multi-layer Pads
Vibrasystems Inc has developed a process to manufacture multi-layers bridge-bearing pads with controlled deflection under loads of up to 1,000 psi. These pads feature multiple layers of metal plates vulcanized with elastomer in between them for durability and compression requirements. All AASHTO pads are manufactured based on customers' drawings and specifications and widely used in the construction industry.
